Philadelphia-based software company Apollo has agreed to pay out a $1 million dollar bet it made on the Golden State Warriors in last months NBA playoffs.

According to a report from tech news site CRN, the terms of the bet were that the losing company would have to donate $500,000 to charity and fly the winning team's mascot around the country in an executive jet.

Apollo will be paying out $1 million to three charities: The California Community Foundation's Wildfire Relief Fund, The Golden State Warriors Community Foundation, and The Boys and Girls Club of America.

"We are excited to be donating $1 million dollars to three great charities and look forward to seeing our Bay Area friends at Oracle OpenWorld next week."

The Warriors went on to win the championship last month, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers 4-0 in the NBA Finals.
